Careers

Firecrest Films has been cited as one of the Best Places to Work in TV for five years running. We were named the best small indie in the UK at the 2022 Edinburgh TV Festival. And in March 2023 we were named one of the best TV companies in the UK for new talent.

ENTRY LEVEL ROLES - DEADLINE 22 APRIL 2024

We're delighted to be taking part once again in the prestigious Channel 4 Production Training Scheme.

There are two opportunities at Firecrest - a trainee researcher and a trainee production coordinator. Both of these are initially 12 month contracts.

These are entry level roles. We are looking for people who have a clear and demonstrable passion for TV production, with no more than three months of industry experience.

Alongside your work and on the go training at Firecrest you will receive formal monthly training funded by Channel 4.

Production Coordinators are part of the production management team who look after the logistics of making TV - this include budgets, transport, schedules and health and safety. You can find out more about the role and apply here.

Researchers find contributors, locations and stories for TV shows, and are a key part of coming up with content for a show. You'll need a keen eye for detail and the ability to quickly become an expert on any subject. You can find out more and apply here.

We are well known in the industry for our support and investment in talent, both through our own initiatives and working with multiple industry schemes.

We are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all staff and job applicants. We aim to create a working environment in which all individuals are able to make the best use of their skills, free from discrimination or harassment, and in which decisions are based on merit. It is the company’s policy to implement affirmatively equal opportunity to all qualified employees and applicants for employment.
