Double nomination - Grierson Awards

We are delighted that two of our films were shortlisted for the 2025 Grierson Awards.

These prestigious awards reflect the best documentary output across broadcasters, streamers and online, including both UK and international films.

Murder Trial - Girl in the River was nominated in the Best Returning Documentary category. The two part series for the BBC is the latest title in the groundbreaking justice series which first aired in 2020. It was produced by Kirsty McFarlane, filmed, produced and directed by Matt Pinder and edited by Audrey McColligan. The executive producers were Iain Scollay and Vari Innes.

Poppy Jay was nominated as Best Presenter for Young, British and Anti-Abortion, a film she not only fronted but also shot, produced and directed. Poppy has also been nominated for best presenter for this film at the Edinburgh TV Festival Awards. 

Young, British and Anti-Abortion won the TV category at the Sanford St Martin Awards in June 2025. The producer was Grace Kirkwood, and executive producers Vari Innes and Nicole Kleeman. Once again it was edited by the brilliant Audrey McColligan.
