Top British Indie - peer poll

Firecrest Films was named as one of the best independent production companies in the UK in the 2025 Broadcast Indie survey, in a poll voted for by our peers and rivals. The list includes all sizes and genres of companies in Britain, including the biggest names in drama and factual entertainment.

Writing up the poll, Broadcast said, 

"The Glasgow-based producer has won the admiration of its peers for being “a true Scottish indie” with a “great range of programmes across different areas”. Its recent output has cemented its presence among the UK’s leading factual producers, with true crime titles Liar: The Fake Grooming Scandal for BBC3 and series two and three of its landmark Murder Trial doc strand for BBC Scotland: Murder Trial: The Disappearance of Renee And Andrew MacRae and Murder Trial: The Killing of Dr Brenda Page."
