Amazon is the largest online retailer in the world - one in three online purchases are made through its site. As the busiest time in retail approaches, Dispatches investigates its seemingly unstoppable growth.

This programme was the highest rating Dispatches film of 2019, with an overnight audience of 1.5m.

The motivational sign on the wall said: “Work Hard. Have Fun. Make History”, but one employee had a pithier slogan: “Every second you stow, they know.” .... This investigation could not exactly illuminate all the dark corners – devoting 30 minutes to the subject of Amazon is like writing a four-page pamphlet called Climate Crisis, but it was, nevertheless, deeply worrying
